Snowshoe walking

Whether it be under a clear moonlit sky or not, the moonlight snow shoe walks for our guests take place once a week. Our guides choose between an easy, moderate, or demanding snowshoe walk according to the fitness level of the participants. As well as appreciating the beauty of nature, our snow shoe walkers will also learn about the area, the people, their customs and traditions, and also about the Rütli oath.

Snowshoe walking is a wonderful way of experiencing unique walks in the picturesque winter scenery, crossing snowy fields in the high alpine environment. There are beautiful places you can reach by snowshoe offering wonderful views of Galtür at night time with a dark, shadowy backdrop of the mountains.
